About Me

Hi, I'm Tyler!  I am a robotics engineer by trade, and a photography enthusiast in my spare time.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where it seemed like anything was possible. One of my first formative experiences was joining a LEGO robotics team in 8th grade, where we made a robot to solve climate-themed challenges on an obstacle course, and initiated a composting program in our school district. That project gave me the confidence to pursue even larger technical challenges, like designing an autonomous submarine for the Robosub competition at Caltech, and developing water pipe inspection robots at MIT. I hope to use my skills for the benefit of humanity, with curiosity as my guide and robots as the key.
